Ahoy Capt'n!

April 12, 2014

Blazer: Iconic
Shirt: H&M

Whether its the Hamptons or Saint Tropez, men's style during summer has ultimately changed! Gone are the days where you see those over-sized Hawaiian shirts with very loud colors and prints. They have been replaced by blazers, chino shorts, loafers, boat shoes and button downs.

Seriously! Your typical white shirt and board shorts guy is not the ideal summer look anymore. Go ahead and search Google images or Pinterest and key in Men's Summer style and its not all about beachwear anymore.

Lifestyle. That is what summer is selling these days. Like the locations I've stated before, most of the people who stroll around those beautiful locations are upscale and jet set people on a summer escape from their very busy lives and they're not shy to flaunt it.

You see pictures of socialites and multimillionaires wearing expensive clothes during summer that reached the radars of runways to RTW's and there you have it, a full refurbishing of Men's summer style. Also, not all people likes to go on a expensive week-long vacation in Bora Bora or Maldives so some people tend to focus on city life and focus on looking their best instead.

About the look: I'm using nautical elements again with the anchor printed shirt, topped with a blazer and spiced it up a bit with a little navy brooch pined in the blazer's lapel. Finished the look with light colored chino shorts and boat shoes.

Crossing stuff on The List:

10 Overcoats/ Casual Jackets = 1 Overcoats/ Casual Jackets
10 Long Sleeves Polo = COMPLETE!

Always have fun!
