Our lives have changed in the last few years; we carry a lot more gadgets & accessories than we used to in the past. And we are always on the move. As a working professional, being able to stay organized with this growing number of gadgets, and accommodating them in the same bag was becoming a challenge. That is why we designed the Montero - a smart, elegant, everyday office bag to help you stay organized and keep up with the pace of growth.

This is why we can introduce to you today, Montero. A pure bag, no-frills - that still looks amazing.

Our Story
We are a startup (www.urbanpik.com) founded by a group of friends who came together as thinkers, product designers, visualizers and craftsmen. It was on a coffee one evening we were discussing how, as working professionals, it is embarrassing to enter into a meeting, or land up at the office desk, and pull out a mesh of entangled cables from the bag, and then try to stay organized. That's when we decided to get ourselves organized, and thus, de-stress our lives. What culminated over the next few days was the Montero.

When we started using this prototype, we got more and more inquiries from friends, colleagues and well-wishers, to supply them with one. This is when we knew this was something which everyone needed. After 4 months of testing and collecting feedback, we knew what all needed to build into the Montero. With a few requests from friends for supplying the Montero to them, we set out to find the best partner who could produce this for us. 8 months and 15 prototypes later, we had the final product ready.

During our journey of Montero, we relied on 3 design principles - to offer Value, make it Stylish and create a Durable product. This makes the Montero resilient, practically manufacturable at scale, usable by both women and men, and a product which can last really long.
