Salt X Parker's Instameet

Last month, we had a fun Instameet launching the new Breakfast menu of Salt and the newly opened Parker's at the Umm Al Emarat Park.

I've been wanting to blog about this but I couldn't find the time to squeeze this in.

We had a total change of scenery (or city to be exact) as the whole IgersDubai gang went to Abu Dhabi to do this special breakfast picnic and lunch.

To start the day we of course did it with coffee and a Salt breakfast would not be complete without a fix of Grind coffee.

We first hanged out at Salt's indoor area which I am definitely happy about because now we can enjoy having our meals in a cool (literally and figuratively) indoor place away from the sun. Perfect for UAE's endless summer and a great hangout place for your and your friends. 😊

We went straight in to the park and a box revealing Salt's newest breakfast sliders served together with hashbrowns!

I had the whole wheat potato bun, organic egg & turkey bacon. All of my breakfast favourites in one so of course I would dig in to this first!

After breakfast we we're given time to look around the park. We headed over to Umm Al Emarat's Shade House, one of my most favorite structures in Abu Dhabi. Its both a greenhouse and a fun place to take those Insta-worthy shots.

The day didn't end there! After tiring ourselves from exploring the park and doing some fun activities back at Salt (we learned how to hulahoop!), we then went to the newly opened Parker's for lunch!

I was extremely surprised and excited to see more food! We were bombarded with a lot of wonderful dishes, I didn't know where to start!

My ultimate favorite from all the dishes they have served us is the Street Fries! I like the spiciness from the jalapeños with the chili lime sauce and the fries were cooked perfectly.

While out of all the sliders that were served, the one that stood out for me was the Crispy Potato Chicken.

For dessert, I feel that Parker's read my mind as they have served us a dessert laced with Lotus Biscuits! Parker's Lotus drama is now officially one of my favorite desserts in the city.

The restaurant's ambiance is well lit and there are enough seating space for groups and an intimate lunch date for two. The design has a modern millennial aesthetic, and the platings used are unique and fun.

Don't touch the food just yet! The food are presented very nicely, it would be a shame not to take the perfect #foodlay. 😄
