Did you enjoy last week's #Instastory? Oh I certainly did and now I'm having a separation anxiety at the moment with Aloft Al Ain.
Aloft is Starwood-Marriott's the quintessential hotel for the young and hip. It has a very fun and funky design elements and colours and I would say one of the hotels that are really changing the hotel game worldwide.
Last weekend, we had a wonderful opportunity to travel east of Abu Dhabi and experience the newly opened Aloft Al Ain just beside the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium.

Coming in, we have been greeted by warm smiles and a very hospitable check-in experience. The staff were very courteous and helpful.
The lobby is very relaxed and very trendy. I really like the circular reception table and the light fixtures in the ceiling.
There is also a small snack bar loaded with a lot of drinks, coffee, pastries and treats. The common area in the lobby has a lot of tables and chairs which is a great hang out with your friends or colleagues during your stay. Its currently a quiet space so I can pretty much say that you can definitely do work without any distractions.
There's even a billiards table for you and your mates to play with. I'm not good at playing billiards (or any type of sports tbqh. lol!) so I gave it a pass.
The room is surprisingly very spacious you can perfectly fit an extra bed inside without consuming a lot of space. I would really recommend staying here especially if you're a big group of friends or family travelling to Al Ain to maybe to visit Hatta Mountains and would like to have an affordable, spacious and comfortable night stay.
The room is complete with 2 working desks a lovely wooden bench that I totally adore and a spacious bathroom with rain shower head.

My obsession to online shopping is back! But this time I'm determined to find unique pieces that you would easily find here in UAE. I purchased this oversized buttoned shirt at yesstyle.com and yes you've guessed it! It's South Korean! I really love the design of South Korean clothing.
This shirt is very thin and soooooo comfortable! I love the striped design and looks great with shorts and a pair of sneaks.

The long drive was quite tiring, so we decided to have lunch immediately after so we went straight to Aloft's Olive Tree.
The lunch menu is quite nice and I really love that they have a diverse yet adequate menu from around the world. We tried the Stir Fried Egg noodles with Shrimp, Steak not Diane and 3 Continent Risotto (I know, weird choices right?) which all tasted good.
We rested a bit and went to explore the area. Aloft Al Ain has a nice and spacious gym equipped with cardio machines, dumbbells and resistance training equipments which I would say is enough noting that the hotel is targeted for short stays and business trips.
The Rooftop pool and bar is lovely and has enough seating capacity and even have cabanas. The only setback is that the pool I would say is around 4ft or a little bit higher. I would have wanted to swim a little dipper without the risk of hitting the floor but I guess it is designed that way for people to just hang out and relax.
The real winner here though are the cocktails and mocktails. I had the Happy Endings which weirdly yet delightfully tasted like chocolate infused with orange. Yum! You can also order snacks and even food at the restaurants.

Finally had the courage to wear this tank! It has been sitting in my closet for more than a year now and I couldn't find a reason to take it out and finally here it is. I really adore the tank's print, surely you guys know that I love anything nautical if you have been following my blog from the start.
Was able to recently find a board shorts (Zara) that would pair perfectly well with the tank and loved hanging out at the pool with it.

We actually loved hanging out at the pool so much we went back there the next morning!
I wore one of the shirts from my thrift finds paired with board shorts and a cute cap. Very easy and relaxed look.

My check-out look is by far one of my favorite OOTDs this year. The cute shirt is also one of the shirts I got from my yesstyle shopping spree. The print is super cute and looks absolutely adorable with the striped trousers I've recently purchased from Zara on sale.
Staying in Aloft Al Ain was actually one of the most relaxing weekends I've had this summer. You should definitely book your stay there if you're planning to visit Al Ain. There are also a coffee shop and restaurants walking distance around the area and a shopping mall a few minutes away. Plan ahead and book your stay now!

After checking-out we went straight and experienced Fuzziwig's Candy Factory at JBR. We had tons of fun trying out all the unique sweets and candies they offer! The place is soooo and is really up in my alley. Do visit the place if you're a sweet tooth like me.
Was a very busy weekend right? Hope you guys enjoyed reading this week's blog.
Have an awesome weekend!
