I wasn't born in the 70's but I know that a lot of the style and fashion we have now has been inspired by the 70's. The hippies, the mods, bohos, rock and roll and the athletics.


These all are all now translated to modern trends:

• Hippies = Hipsters
• Mod = Preppy/Dapper
• Boho = Bohemian/Festival
• Rock & Roll = Punk/Goth/Grunge
• Athletic = Athleisure

What I love most about the 70's is that looking back at the old photos of the young people, they all looked like art students hanging out outside their school. They were free to express themselves and be comfortable in their own skin. There were no rules in dressing up and each has its on cultures and sub cultures.

Today's look is inspired by the athletics. I wore a clean plain shirt with a Donald Duck print and colored linings (Zara) and a fun blue swim shorts (H&M).
